Incorporating help defense within your closeout drills allows you to work on multiple things at once. Coach Muller shows a drill that incorporates help defense, closing out to the gaps within the first passing lane, and on-ball defense. After your players work on their footwork and proper closeout technique, they will progress and incorporate live game play.
This drill allows to instill baseline out of bounds situations. You can also adjust the drill to force the ball to the sideline, middle, or baseline. More Info & Videos! (August 19th, 2019)

Gurus 'Advanced Stats'
does not Stand the Test of Time

• Gurus 'Advanced Stats' Great Lies & High Salaries
• Grandes Mentiras y Altos Salarios de los Gurus con las E.A.

( for the English Translation= See Below )

Unlike Lebron who at 19 began his NBA career, Jordan was a NCAA champion majored in cultural geography at N.C. In this Image from Nat's Basketball Stats presented by eBA Stats Basketball Statistics Analysis . Image: Nat's Basketball Stats

When evaluating players in today’s game, you can’t get very far in the conversation before “Can he shoot the three-pointer?” comes up. The prospects that come into the league are increasingly required to have an outside shot. This off-season we have seen more and more big men than ever before shooting three-point shots during practices. Even bigs who’ve never projected as shooters are taking a whack at practicing shooting 3’s. One of the most important things besides the value of the three-point shot itself is the spacing it creates on the floor for your other teammates to do things with the basketball. This ability to suck your opponent closer to yourself has been appropriately referred to as gravity 1. The value of floor spacing is still something that is not captured in things like PER or normal box score stats. (Click on the image to continue reading the posty!)

A contribution by Daniel Ferrero to the 'Advanced Basketball Stats Debate'!
Basketball Advanced Statistics OR / AND / WITH
Basketball Conventional Statistics... THAT is the question !

On the great debate between the "gurus" ( in lower case... ) from modern basketball statistics and game analysts, who usually read David Friedman or are grouped in the eBA, is unnecessary. The great truth surpasses the big lies and deviations of the numbers of so-called "advanced statistics" in short, those pseudo-scientific formulas were created only to justify the high salaries that the "gurus" ( in lower case... ) knew how to get !

Is already highly proven that these "deep" analysis does not stand the test of time (can be valuable in a game or two), and finally what is really valuable is the analysis or the game analyst or the scouter in front of the game video-tape !
