without entering to
the
Coach Corner
eBA? Thanks in advance to the eBA
Stats Team....!

Adjusted points per
game (Adjppg) is just points per possession times the league average of possessions
per team per game. This scales its yearly average to be as the league average for PPG -Points per
Basketball Game.
This method applies in a straightforward manner to teams. It has never been applied to
individuals.
The place at our site you refer to, is Basketball Statistics Formulas and not the eBA Basketball
Coach Corner.

Adjusted field goal
percentage is just a real simple modification of field percentage that gives extra valuation for scoring
three points shots. It has special uses for three points specialists and also helps to
identify where a problem might be in a team's offense.
Find definitions and discussions at the Global Basketball
Directory.

Calculating adjusted or effective Field Goal Percentage,
both for players and teams:
Adj FG% = ( Total FG + 0.5 * 3ptFG ) / Total FGA
You can see the whole formula at Formulas eBA and the discussion at the eBA System - The
Project.
