Flip Pass

From the Global Basketball Directory:
"The pass is used for close passing and in pivoting offense. The wrist is used to flip the ball to a player cutting by. The flip pass is a short pass used primarily in the "give-and-go" offense and is seldom intercepted or fumbled due the fact that the ball is protected and shielded from the defensive man."

The pass is made almost entirely with a wrist flip and we employ it extensively in giving a return pass to our guards who are cutting by toward the basket. Our pivot men use it to feed guards and forwards who have been freed by our screening offense.
