"Red".

Defensive terminology: Gamble for the steal and get the ball or a foul.

"Red Zone".

Court terminology: 8'-10' semi circle around the basket.

Referee.

One of two or three officials in charge of a game; they are responsible for calling all violation and fouls, levying penalties, and signaling valid field goals.
