Pressure Defense SOS.

A defensive tactic which set the tempo by striking first rather than reacting to an opponent's game plan. The SOS Pressure Defensive system is based on the concept of total disruption achieved by having the defense initiate the action and attacking the offense, forcing the offensive players to react and move away from their normal offensive actions.

Prouty.

Method of rating players by Jon Scott, based on averaging four areas: Offensive Efficiency, Total Offense, Possessions Gained and Win Rating. The various individual parts are based on a per minute basis.

Pump Fake.

Offensive technique: a fake in which a player motions upward as if he is going to shoot the ball but holds back, hoping his defender will jump out of position. The pump fake is utilized in an attempt to score or draw a foul by luring the defender in the air and off balance.

Dribble quickly up the floor.
