Two-handed Overhead Pass

From the Global Basketball Directory:
"Is probably the most used pass in the modern game and is effective in many situations particularly when throwing inside to a tall or post player. The two-handed overhead pass is simply a wrist snap from above, but not behind the head, with a downward action."

This is a high level pass that is particularly useful for tall players but can be used effectively by anyone who receives the ball above head height and wants to make a quick pass to a teammate. The ball should be held above the head with the arms slightly bent and the fingers and thumbs spread along the sides and rear the ball. The ball is propelled by a sharp extension of the arms and a snap of the wrists and fingers as before but with very little follow-through of the arms. When correctly executed it is a very fast pass and difficult to intercept.
