Two-handed Overhead Pass |
|
This is a high level pass that is particularly useful for tall players but can be used effectively by anyone who receives the ball above head height and wants to make a quick pass to a teammate. The ball should be held above the head with the arms slightly bent and the fingers and thumbs spread along the sides and rear the ball. The ball is propelled by a sharp extension of the arms and a snap of the wrists and fingers as before but with very little follow-through of the arms. When correctly executed it is a very fast pass and difficult to intercept. |
