Una anotación que puede valer dos o tres puntos, dependiendo de si fue hecha desde adentro o afuera de la línea de tres puntos (marcada a 22 pies -6.25 metros- del aro). También conocido como un "hoop", "bucket" or "basket".

Fouls shots are awarded when the opposing teams fouls a player in the act of shooting, or when the opposing team commits a foul against a team that is already in the "bonus".
