Palming.

A violation in which a player moves his hand under the ball and scoops it while dribbling, and results in loss of possession.
Also:  Carrying the ball.

Cuando un jugador de ataque libera a un compañero para que tome un lanzamiento abierto, al establecer una pantalla que no le permite al rival defender al lanzador. Si el jugador que establece la pantalla no está inmóvil y hay contacto con el rival, la jugada resulta en una falta ofensiva y su equipo pierde la posesión del balón.

Una jugada en donde un jugador en ataque proporciona una pantalla, después "gira" hacia el tablero y recibe un pase de un compañero para tomar un lanzamiento abierto.
"You are the point guard. The power forward is in the low post, the center in the high post. You bring the ball up court and pass to the center, who draws a double team and kicks it out to you. You pass to the left or right wing just as another guard comes up and sets a pick for you. Now you "roll" to the basket to get the pass for a lay-up or open shot".
