Doblar al Hombre: "Double Team"

Una táctica defensiva en la que
dos defensas cubren al jugador de ataque en posesión del balón.
Doble Drible: "Double Dribble"
Una violación
que ocurre cuando un jugador pica el balón,
para, y vuelve a picar otra vez; cuando un jugador bota el balón
con ambas manos al mismo tiempo o cuando quien lleva el balón lo
retiene momentáneamente mientras dribla. Una vez que el jugador
detiene su drible, debe pasar, lanzar o pedir un tiempo muerto antes de botar el balón nuevamente.

Doble Falta: "Double Foul"
La situación en la cual jugadores adversarios se cometen simultáneas faltas uno en contra del otro. Un jump ball es realizado entre ambos

Double-Double.
A term indicating that a player has accumulated at least 10 units in
two statistical categories (e.g. 10 points
and 10 rebounds
constitute a double-double.)
Double Dribble: "Doble Drible"
A violation that occurs when a player either dribbles the ball with two hands at the same time or dribbles, then stops or "picks up" his/her dribble, and dribbles again. Once a player
stops dribbling, he/she must pass, shoot
or call time out before dribbling again.
Double Figures.
Ten or more units in any statistical category.
Double Foul: "Doble Falta"
Ver: Doble Falta
The situation in which opponents commit simultaneous fouls against one another. A jump ball is held between the two players.

Double Post.
An offensive
set-up in which two players, typically the center and the power forward, are in post positions. They usually start in low post positions, one on each side of the basket, with one of them sometimes
coming out to the high post as
the ball moves around.
Double Pump.
Two fake shots in rapid succession. Also used as
a verb.
Double-team: "Doblar al Hombre"

The defensive tactic of two
players guarding one. This tactic
is often employed when defending against a dominant player, or
when attempting to force a turnover
by "trapping" the ball. Also called "Double".
Downcourt or Down the Court.
The direction a team on offense moves, from its backcourt into its frontcourt and towards its own basket.
